There is no universal winner between snowboard bibs and pants: bibs seal out deep, wet snow better, while pants breathe cooler and make bathroom breaks simpler, so the right pick depends on how you ride and how often you sit in the snow. We've fit Vermont riders in both since 1989, and we sell twice as many pants as bibs, mostly because our snow runs heavier and wetter than the photos out West show.
