We are happy to return or exchange merchandise within the following guidelines:
- The merchandise must be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund.
- After 14 days, a store credit is issued. We will not accept any returns after 28 days of receipt.
- Returns arriving without a Return Authorization number will be refused and returned to you at your expense.
- Tags must still be attached and the merchandise must be in the original packaging. Items must be in "NEW" condition (No odors, hair, body fluids, or other signs of wear)
- No returns on sale items.
- No returns on INTERNATIONAL ORDERS due to US Customs Regulations
This online return policy does not apply to purchases at any of our brick and mortar Darkside locations. *We make the final call whether the merchandise is returnable or not. If merchandise is determined to be damaged we will return it to you at your expense.
Exchange: Darkside can exchange your item for another item. If you qualified for free shipping on your initial order, you will receive free shipping on the new item. In addition to the free shipping, we will waive the re-stocking fee. You are responsible for return postage back to Darkside.*Please note: To ensure that you receive the item you wish to exchange for we encourage you to reorder that item, as we cannot always guarantee the availability of the item you wish to exchange for upon the arrival of your return.
- Account Credit: You may return your item for in-store (online) credit. By doing so, we will waive re-stocking fees, and initial shipping charges on shipments that were shipped for free. Original shipping charges will not be credited to your account. Account credit never expires!
- Refund: You may return the item for an immediate credit back to your credit card. You will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee & any original shipping charges that darksidesnowboards.com incurred if your item was shipped for free. (See Return Shipping Costs below)
All orders canceled by the customer after shipment will have a 10% restocking fee subtracted from their refund amount and any shipping charges.
Darkside does not guarantee the exchange or credit for a defective item. If you believe your product is defective please send it back along with the return form explaining the defect and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
Return Shipping Costs
We will reimburse you for shipping costs if we have sent you the wrong item. If it is the correct item that you ordered, but you still wish to do a return, you must cover the cost of shipping. We DO NOT accept C.O.D.s on return items. In the case of a manufacturer defect / warranty issue, the buyer is responsible for the freight back to darksidesnowboards.com and we will ship the repaired or replaced product back to you at our expense.
Returning A Package
Before returning a package, simply e-mail us and request a return authorization number. No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number on the outside of the box. No returns will be accepted with a C.O.D. attached. Please follow the instructions below.
- Please include the packing slip with your return and wrap the package securely. The manufacturer's box must be inside a box suitable for shipping. DO NOT SHIP IN THE MANUFACTURERS BOX!
- For your protection, we recommend that you use a traceable and insurable from of shipping. We are not responsible for lost or damaged goods in transit back to darksidesnowboards.com.
- Write the Return Authorization number (given by Darkside) on the outside of the shipping box with a marker.
